Hello everyone~

I'm Tiina from Finland and this is my blog. This isn't my first blog and honestly I can't remember how many times I've made a blog just to see how it'll die soon on my hands. ^^'
But let's give it another try! This time I've a purpose for this blog!

Mostly I'll be uploading my postcards here and maybe say a few words about them :)

So this blog will be around my hobbies but I'm sure I will probably babble lots of unnecessary stuff too :''D

Since this blog is mostly about my hobbies (or at least it's trying to be) I hopefully won't be talking much about myself. Few of you are my irl friends and others probably my pen pals, and for both groups I talk a lot about how I'm doing etc. I don't think there is need to talk about my personal things more, right? (Tsc, yeah you're saying that now, let’s see how things are after a week or so..)

My hobbies go around reading and writing. By reading I don't actually mean books.. I'm very lazy when it comes to books :''D I usually keep reading the same books over and over again (*cough*HarryPotters*cough*). Mostly I read mangas or other comics. :)

Besides manga (and anime) I write letters, postcards and roleplay in forums, which means more writing! Most of the people think that I'm a good writer... YOU'RE SO WRONG. X''D I've never been a good writer, never. I don't have any motivation or ideas to write stories etc. But you don't really need to think when you write letters or postcards. Roleplaying is a bit harder for me, because there you need to think a lot of stuff while writing x . x''

I started snail mailing around the age 14-16, but soon I had a few years when I didn't write any letters. And a few years back writing letters and roleplaying hit me hard and nowadays I can't imagine a week without writing at least few postcards and one letter. :o

Around the age 10-12 I started to roleplay in the internet. It all started when I went to one chat and people were roleplaying there. Of course I didn't have any clue what the heck they were doing but soon someone explained it to me. I wanted to try it and that's what I've been doing all these years. xD Like in snail mailing, I had a few years when I didn't roleplay (I was busy with friends in real life) but nowadays I roleplay again. Sometimes too much and sometimes not so much. ^^''

Postcrossing is quite new hobby of mine. I've been sending out and receiving postcards only for a two years now. I've not been the most active users in there but nowadays I send postcards every week.

Here are the first 20 cards I've received by postcrossing!

My very first postcard by postcrossing is from Norway. :D In this card you can see statues of Vigelandsparken . It's a famous park in Oslo which is filled with 212 bronze and granite sculpture! People like to have picnics over there on summertime. It would be awesome to go there on summertime! o w o Thank you Jørg for this postcard!

My second postcard is from Thailand. This card shows mostly elephants and tourists riding them. Thank you Padur for this postcard!

I got this card from Taiwan. I like this card very much! I'll write what was written on the otherside of the card:
"According to the Chinese Zodiac, the year 2011 is the year of the Golden Rabbit. In Taiwan, foreign foods from all over the world have also made their appearance and Taiwan's own native cuisine has also became known around the world. Taiwan's best-known snacks are present in the night markets, and if you try it just once you will remember it forever. A place mixed with traditions and modernity, Taiwan is one place in Asia you cannot miss!"

A card from Italy~
On the other side of the card is text "Would you take me with you around the world? (the dog is talking)".  YES I WOULD, WILL YOU BRING HIM TO ME AND PAY OUR TRIP AROUND THE WORLD? (o w o)

This is from Netherlands.
The cat is so cute ; w ;  Thanks Hermi for this card!

A card from China~ Thank you Chop~
"This card shows the forbidden city of Beijing. The ancient emperor lived inside and also this was the office for them."

A card from Russia, thanks Stanislav!
